Robbinsdale is a city in Hennepin County and is located directly west of Minneapolis. Robbinsdale is a smaller community with a population just shy of 15,000 residence.

Robbinsdale is within the Robbinsdale Area School District (ISD 281). There are only three schools physically located within city limits:
- Lakeview Elementary School
- Robbinsdale Middle School
- Sacred Heart Elementary School (Private)
Robbinsdale is home to the annual festival Whiz Bang Days. Whiz Bang Days is a four day long celebration held during the summer. The 2017 Whiz Bang Days are the 69th year the festival has been held in the city. Below are some of the highlights of the festival:

Parks & Recreation
Robbinsdale Parks Department maintains and repairs the city’s 14 parks with a total size of 110 acres and several miles of pathways.
Robbinsdale is also home to a community gym and fitness center. The Robbinsdale Community Gyms & Fitness Center is located at the Robbinsdale Middle School Building with entrance at door 18. The facility includes a weight room and two gymnasiums.
